RKO/ UPF Color Coded CoPoly Tank Fill Towers
In the heat of the fire, simplicity is the safest option. RKO will be utilizing CoPoly Tanks from UPF new fill towers as standard equipment starting very soon - at no extra charge. RKO was the first to offer foam units standard on all our units and again we are the first to offer another firefighter friendly innovation.
We all know what can happen when you mix water and/or foam agents by mistake. With that in mind, we include a color-coded fill tower system so the operator will know which liquid goes into which fill tower. This system can prove to eliminate costly and time consuming clean-ups.
Color coding the units add simplicity:
Blue = Water
Yellow = Class A Foam Concentrate / Class A Agent
Green = Class B Foam Concentrate / Class B Agent
Black = A special order color if the customer does not want a color coding system.
In addition, the capacity of each tank will be engraved on the top of the fill tower lid.
